Taipu de Fora has all the magic of a place whose owners care about the ecosystem.
Local people and tourists are aware of its care.
It’s up to all of us to make sure that this place keeps the enchantment that Mother Nature gave it.

We offer these suggestions so that you can learn more about corals and their care. The following sources provide more information.
Just follow these simple suggestions and you will become a “coral friendly snorkeller”

1) DO NOT THROW TRASH IN PUBLIC PLACES.

IF YOU FIND ANY WASTE PLEASE PICK IT UP     AND THROW IT IN AN APPROPRIATE TRASHCAN.


3) DO NOT WALK OR TOUCH THE CORALS, the      slightest contact can damage them, and some      corals can hurt you.


4) IF YOU GO SNORKELLING:

     • Practise far from the reef.
     • Keep a comfortable distance from the coral         reef.
     • Keep yourself in a horizontal position while         you are near or over a coral reef.
     • Do not take anything out of the water, except         for recently thrown trash with no organisms on         it.
     • Do not touch, manipulate or feed the sea         animals.
     • Remember: Look but don’t touch!
